I wrote this song for my wife, Suzanne, the love of my life. The title says it all. We do a pretty good waltz, so I ended the song with some swirls and twirls.
Lyrics
I used to be fine with alone
I used to think I'z cool going out on my own
Looking for a girl but I came with a warning
I would dance with you at night but leave you in the morning
And then you came along
Now I dance to a different song
1-2-3-4
It started out so innocent, I met her in the park
Bought her a cup of coffee, pretty soon it was dark
I walked her to her car and forgot to ask her name
But I got her lucky number and I've never been the same
Oh, oh, oh I know it's true
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
I can't be me without you.
Oh, oh, oh I know it's true
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
I can't be me without you.
You are the light of my day
From morning to night, you keep a smile on my face
Suuuuuzy. What am I supposed to do?
Suuuuuzy. A side of me I never knew
Oh, oh, oh I know it's true
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
I can't be me without you.
